Nice to meet you!
When I was 17 and trying to decide what to major in, someone from the college I was touring said, “If you’re the person strangers start telling their life story to, consider studying Psychology and become a therapist!” I laughed then—but the truth is, strangers did tell me their life stories, and I’ve been listening ever since.
I had a difficult time emotionally growing up and spent my fair share of time in therapy. I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of the couch—how vulnerable it can feel, how scary it sometimes is. That experience is part of what led me to become a therapist. God has placed it on my heart to care for others the way I needed to be cared for.
I married my husband, Ben, in 2020, and we have two beloved pets: Allie, our cat, and Maggie, our golden retriever. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me on a walk, journaling, reading, spending time with friends, or hanging out with Ben.
