How will I help you process betrayal trauma and learn to trust yourself (and others) again?
Finding out that the person you trusted implicitly has cheated on you, lied to you, withheld information from you, or betrayed your trust in any way, is nothing short of gut wrenching. You feel like your entire world just turned upside down. You feel angry, hurt, confused - and sometimes, all you’re wanting in that moment is for the person who hurt you the most to be the person to help put you back together.
In therapy, we gently process your pain together. I have a deep understanding of betrayal and understand the compassion and nuance it needs.
I provide tools to help you grieve in a way where you’re free to express your emotions, but your emotions don’t control you. We discuss specific ways trust can be rebuilt, and what you need to see in order to know someone is trustworthy. Learn about me and my approach here.
Perhaps most importantly, we discuss your identity and how it is not found in your spouse or partner, or the choices they’ve made. Healing after infidelity is possible, and I’d love to come alongside you.

My fee is $150 per 50-minute therapy session.

Currently, I do not take insurance. However, many of my clients independently file for reimbursement with their insurance companies and I am happy to assist in providing the documentation your insurance provider needs. To learn whether your insurance covers our counseling sessions, call them and ask if they provide "mental health benefits for out-of-network providers." If they do, be sure to ask what information they require in a ‘superbill.’
-
A limited number of sliding scale rates are available for clients who need financial assistance. If you think you might qualify, reach out to me and I will provide you with a sliding scale application.
-
Clients who cancel within 24 hours or do not appear for an appointment will be charged the full $150 fee.

At this time, I do not work with children 12 and under, provide custody evaluations, or help with severe unmanaged conditions requiring a higher level of care.
“Will I make it through this?”
As a Christian counselor specializing in infidelity and betrayal trauma in Austin, TX, I hear this question a lot. It’s all so overwhelming, you wonder if it’s even possible to survive this.
If you’ve recently suffered the shock of betrayal, you probably feel like you’re going crazy. You feel like it’s hard to know what’s true and what’s not anymore. You might start to question yourself and if you did anything to cause this. You want to trust again, but you also don’t, because you could get hurt again.
Going through what you’re going through is like trying to adjust to a world that’s now completely upside down. You don’t know what’s up, down, left, right.
Yes, my friend, you will make it through this. Healing is possible. Redemption is possible. As you walk through the darkest valley, I’d be honored to meet with you, help you make sense of reality again, and restore your hope in a future that can still be beautiful.

— R.G.“I am a therapist working in Temple and was looking to find a therapist referral to give someone. I was specifically looking for a Christian counselor who does brainspotting. The feedback I have received from my client has been nothing but positive. Very in command of the brainspotting session all while creating an atmosphere of gentleness and warmth. I would happily refer other people to her without hesitation.”
